Further Information | The surgeon on the Pyrenees wrote that Patrick Hannon had never served abroad and had not left Dublin until joining the ship. He was usually healthy but on 8th March complained of headaches, lassitude and general uneasiness attended by chills. His health declined until he died at 6:30 am on 24th March of fever |
