Further Information | British Army Worldwide Index 1841 659 63rd foot location Moulmein Discharge: Health quite broken down In 1853 Maria Rickey signed a letter of thanks to the Surgeon Superintendent Dr. Morris of the Robert Small Subscriber to the Pensioners Benevolent Society Maria’s obituary said her father was colour and pay sergeant Joseph Kennedy When Maria died it was as Maria Hancock but no marriage has been found on the WA BMDs. The Bi-Centennial dictionary said Thomas Hancock Married Maria Hickey (sic) daughter of Joseph Kennedy 5 October 1875 York C of E Obituary coy about her second husband. The Bicentennial Dictionary thinks he was an expiree. His death is also unknown. |
