WO12/8921 Discharge: Rheumatism, chronic cough and difficulty Breathing. James McDaniel was not involved in the inquiry of the conduct of the surgeon of the Stag. James McDaniel appears to have been a single man but the log of the Stag has the death of a child Patrick McDonnell on 30th April 1855 aged 1 year 2 months making his birth about February 1854. A child Patrick McDonell was baptised 3rd March 1854, father James McDonell and mother Isabella, the surname unreadable at Carlow, Ireland. James McDaniel’s death is noted on a WO23 as 25th January 1872 but the only death in the registration records is for a James McDonald age 57 who died on 10th January 1872 Adelaide South Australia. |
