Further Information | British Army Worldwide index 1841 St. Vincent, St. Lucia and Dominica 1851 Corfu Ionian Islands 1851 Carlow Ireland Mentioned in Surgeon’s Log Friday 7th July 1865 as having negligently performed his duty whilst on sentry in main hatchway. Grog stopped for 7 days. In the 1861 Census for Scotland a John McKay age 40, a railway labourer, born Tongue was a lodger at the Victoria Model Lodging House for Males at 97 Overgate Dundee. He said he was a married man. He was in an asylum in NZ from December 1875 until his death in 1881 aged 61. See WO22/278-WO22/292 |
