Discharge due to stiffness of right thigh due to a gunshot wound received 12 June at the Cemetery.
Warders and Gaolers page 143/4 has a long entry regarding the service of James McMahon as a warder at the Convict Establishment WA and further information regarding the mental state of his wife Rosanna.
Daughter Mary McMahon was admitted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital three times before her death:
20th January 1888, age 24, Single woman, RC, residence Prospect, no occupation, born Western Australia 8 years in Colony arrived on the Otway
28 March 1889, age 25, Single, RC, residence Russell Street, born WA, 13 years in Colony arrived Ottway (sic)
5 March 1891, 30 years, single, RC, residence South Wark occupation Servant, born WA died 13 March 1891. (Registration said 15th March.
