Further Information | William was promoted to Corporal 26th January 1841 however he reverted to Private 12th October 1843 at his own request. British Army Worldwide index 1841 William Eccleston 709 Corporal 67th foot location Drummondville Canada Discharge due to being worn out from long service in foreign lands. Mrs Eccleston age 30 Guard’s Wife received medical treatment on July 21 1853 for fever while on board the Phoebe Dunbar, she also suffered from pneumonia September 19th just prior to arrival at Fremantle |
